Brawl fans rejoice because I’m about to tell you some crazy news! Director Masahiro Sakurai has announced that Mewtwo will now be a playable character in the Super Smash Bros game for both the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. The release date has yet to come out for this character, but Masahiro Sakurai did mention that Mewtwo will be coming soon!
Mewtwo has been a fan favorite character since Melee. He has even inspired gamers to use his name for major gaming competitions, such as mew2king. Unfortunately, Mewtwo is going to need to be bought as a DLC, rather than a free download. Hopefully, the price tag on Mewtwo isn’t too large. The price may be a bit of a bummer, but at least there is confirmation that Mewtwo is returning to the Smash series. Things are looking pretty good for the smash community, and now a fan favorite character will be returning to this hit video game series!
