Is it true? Has LEGO finally decided to turn my fantasy into reality? It looks like it’s my lucky day because LEGO has decided to make my dreams come true! LEGO Dimensions is a toy/video game hybrid. Just like Skylanders, or Disney Infinity, LEGO Dimensions will allow you to take all of your favorite LEGO figures into the virtual world. The difference between LEGO dimensions, and any other action figure/video game hybrid is that you can build your figures. Keep in mind you’re still playing with LEGOs, this means that you can have all the fun of a classic LEGO play set, but now there are added bonuses.
LEGO Dimensions has a variety of different figures, and vehicles that you can purchase. You can purchase level packs, or fun packs that come with LEGO minifigures, or LEGO vehicles. You can also purchase a LEGO Dimensions Starter Pack for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, or Nintendo WiiU. The Starter pack has everything you will need to begin your cross dimension adventure. The Starter pack comes with three figures, Batman, Gandalf, and Wyldstyle. You also get a buildable Batmobile. The Starter pack also comes with a toy pad, and a buildable LEGO gateway. The gateway is the key to your cross dimension adventure. This is where you will place your figures, and watch as they turn from toys, into a virtual character. Finally, the starter pack comes with the LEGO Dimensions video game. Just like the LEGO Gateway, the actual disc for the game is also important. I mean you can’t really play the game without it!
Everyone here at zooLert is extremely excited for this new product. It looks extremely promising, and LEGO has already announced future LEGO brands that will be entering the game. The LEGO Movie, DC Comics, Lord of the Rings, The Wizard of Oz, LEGO Ninjago, and Back to the Future will all be making an appearance. It’s time for all of us LEGO fans, and video game fans to get together because our dimensions are about to collide!
